Special Olympics

Do you have a family member or a friend with a disability? Well it may be a sad thing but there is a bright side! There is a tournament for kids and adults with disabilities and they get to play fun games but they are made easier so they can play! 5-405 went to one of the tournaments and they had a section where the the kids and the adults would come over and make crafts. When I did this I felt really good inside. Because I helped someone who cant do as many things as I can. But hey you can help! You can volunteer too! You can bring in a idea for a craft set it up, and sign up for it so you can let people with disabilities make the craft of your idea!
hey please respond and say what you did to help the world! YA!

How refreshing! To read about a child in Fifth grade who cares about something besides electronics!
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration for other students and parents. I heard the Vanderbilt YMCA 47th street does a special olympics swim event for all ages that always needs volunteers as well. Regards from Not The Artsy Craft Type of Mom. (Franny's mom of course)
