mr.grumpy the great

Hello fifth graders!
You remember the field trip last monday? From your overall field trip experience you know the bus driver is usually nice.Right? Well, when going to school from the zoo, Ms.Morque class got an unusually grumpy bus driver. At one point he stopped the bus and told us to be quiet! Even Ms.Morque said he was grumpy and that we were doing great on the bus.

Seneca village

Today Michele's class went on a class trip to Central Park! For a nice relaxing walk in the park? No! To learn about the not so famous Seneca Village. It was a village for freed blacks, Irish and German immigrants, a nice integrated mix that wanted to get a way from the busy and crowded down town Manhattan. So those people made there own village called Seneca Village. I think that this field trip was very informational. The only part why they don't live there any more is because the other people who lived on lower Manhattan wanted a nice park exactly where Seneca Village was. So this case went to the Supreme Court. And the poor Seneca Village got razed, because they lost the trial. And, this is how we got our Central Park...

Franny's thoughts #16

Like Remi said, we had a lecture on puberty that was co-ed. Do you think we should have these lectures? Or something else? Suggestions via comments!

puberty class

Today I had a health class. Aka puberty class. Very weird, awkward but informational. eww! It was VERY awkward. I personally did not enjoy this very informational day. Apparently I think no one else did.
